WanderCare — Product Spec

WanderCare is one discreet, professionally installed kit built on a local-first home hub. It combines ambient sensing, on-device detection, and tiered escalation to a chosen support network. It is a wellness and safety platform, not a medical device.

Sensing layer

• mmWave radar presence & fall sensing — device-free detection of falls, prolonged no-motion, and room presence, with no camera required in private spaces.
• Environmental sensors — smoke, carbon monoxide, extreme temperature, water/leak, and air quality.
• Door / exit sensing — wandering and unexpected-exit detection.
• Optional cameras — opt-in, per room, only where the elder consents. Never in bedrooms or bathrooms.
• Wearable trend signals — optional, from devices the person already owns (Oura, Apple Watch, glucose monitors). Trend-grade, not diagnostic.

Detection & processing

• All recognition runs on-device on the local home hub — a fall, no-motion, exit, or environmental event is understood locally.
• No raw audio or video leaves the home. Data is edge-processed, stays on the hub, is never sold, and is never used to train models.
• Research in progress: per-person, on-device adaptive detection to reduce false alarms across varied real-world homes.

Escalation

Escalation is tiered and configurable, and reaches a chosen support network before any generic call center.

Privacy modes

• Five-level privacy dial, elder-controlled, from radar-only up to cameras-where-consented.
• Physical off-switch the elder holds — no remote override by family, partner, or server.
• Per-room configuration; bedrooms and bathrooms stay camera-free by design.

Resilience

• Keeps working when home internet or power fails, over cellular and a local mesh between WanderVerse nodes.
• Local-first: the home hub does not depend on a cloud account to function.

Status

WanderCare is pre-revenue with no deployed installs yet. The system is built and running; first pilot installs are near-term in the Washington DC area. We do not publish testimonials, pilot satisfaction figures, or ship dates we have not earned.

Access

Eisinger Holdings LLC builds and installs WanderCare commercially. A nonprofit, Wandering With Pride Inc. (501(c)(3)), runs a charitable-access program to bring WanderCare to low-income elders through grants and Medicaid HCBS waivers.
