Twenty-two promises.

Every WanderVerse product follows these rules. They are mission-locked into our charter. Removing any of them requires a 2/3 nonprofit-board vote AND a 60-day public comment period — a deliberately high bar.

Economic

  1. 60/10/30 Community Pool split on every sale — 60% Ambassador wages, 10% PrideFund, 30% nonprofit Community Pool.
  2. Honest pricing. BOM cost + margin published. No fake "premium" upsell features.
  3. Ambassador-assembled. Every unit hand-built by a trained Ambassador, signature inside.
  4. No subscription business model. One-time purchase plus optional opt-in service subs (Iridium airtime, etc.). Hardware features never behind a monthly fee.

Durability

  1. 7-year parts commitment from ship date, at cost+10%.
  2. Standard fasteners only. No pentalobes, no proprietary screws, no glue on structural joints.
  3. Open STL files under CC BY-SA 4.0 for chassis, mounts, brackets.
  4. Open firmware commitment. Source available under GPLv3 or Apache 2.0.

Privacy & identity

  1. Zero cloud by default. Every product works end-to-end without an internet connection.
  2. Hardware privacy switches. Physical mic-kill and camera-kill on every product with those sensors.
  3. Identity-aware defaults. Covert modes, duress codes, panic wipe, Invisible Mode where applicable.
  4. No surveillance partnerships. No law-enforcement portals, no insurer data-sharing, no advertiser feeds.
  5. Pre-shared trust only. Sharing is to user-designated trust lists, never to platforms.

Architecture

  1. Dual-mode. Mode 1 standalone, Mode 2 industry-standard, Mode 3 WanderVerse-native.
  2. Visual family identity. Saffron #E8A020 single accent. Matte. No exterior wordmark.

Manufacturing

  1. Dual-source critical parts. No single-vendor lock-ins.
  2. IPC Class 2 minimum, Class 3 for automotive and medical.
  3. Right-to-repair by design. Service flow documented per product.
  4. Survivor advisory review. Identity-aware features pass an advisory panel review (DV / trans / undocumented / legal) before EVT.

Governance

  1. LLC → PBC → nonprofit succession. Class A shares transfer to WWP at retirement.
  2. Mission-lock charter. Removing any of these promises requires 2/3 board + 60-day public comment.
  3. Quarterly transparency report. Public ledger of Community Pool, Ambassador wages, devices, certs, panic-mode activations.
