Hardware campaigns — per-device crowdfunding
Each of the 29 gadgets funds itself. Conditional release — we only manufacture when enough people pre-order. No speculative inventory. No Kickstarter platform fees. Every hardware backer who is not already a Founding Member gets 1 year of WanderVerse free with their device — then $25/mo after.

The governance structure
Eisinger Holdings LLC runs the commercial products. Wandering With Pride Inc. (501(c)(3)) runs the nonprofit programs — WanderHaven™, WanderSafe safety research, the Ambassador workforce program. The plan is to hand the company to the nonprofit when the time is right, so it runs as a mission-driven enterprise permanently. No acquisition possible without a nonprofit board vote. Data can never be sold. The WanderSafe scoring algorithm is MIT-licensed — the community keeps the code regardless of what happens to the company.

The Ambassador flywheel
Wandering With Pride is a 501(c)(3). That means the Ambassador Program can access WIOA Title I funding, Ticket to Work employment network payments, and other disability employment grants — which means the net cost of a full-time Ambassador hire is closer to $370–570/month for the first year. We're not hiring charity cases. We're hiring disabled and neurodivergent adults who understand privacy tech from the inside because they've needed it.
Founding Members get priority consideration for Ambassador positions when hiring opens. It's not a guarantee — every role still goes through the same process — but you'll be at the front of the line. The people who believed in this earliest are the ones we want building it.

Is this equity? Am I buying a share?
No. Founding Membership is not equity — it's a lifetime product subscription plus community recognition. When our Regulation Crowdfunding round opens (planned 2027–2028), Founding Members get first notification and access. That will be the equity opportunity. The $199 is a founding contribution that buys permanent access and a seat at the table.
What does "lifetime" actually mean?
Lifetime means the life of the software. As long as WanderVerse exists and runs, you have access to all software and digital products at no additional cost — no upgrades fees, no new-version charges, no subscription. Hardware products — personal devices like WanderPhone, WanderTrack, and WanderNode, plus the full 29-product smart home replacement suite (WanderCam, WanderLock, WanderTherm, WanderSensor, WanderBell™, WanderAlarm™, and more) — are physical goods with real manufacturing costs. We can't give those away forever for $199. What you get on hardware is founding member pricing (priority access before general launch + the best price we can offer). Software is forever. What if I want to stay anonymous?
You can. The founding record includes whatever name or alias you provide — your real name, a handle, initials, or "Founding Member #47." For many community members, being publicly named as LGBTQ+ or an activist is not safe. Anonymity is a design feature, not a limitation.
Are there really only 1,000 spots?
Yes. 1,000 Founding Member spots — small enough that every member actually matters to the early community, large enough to fund the initial infrastructure build. Above that, Charter (300 spots) and Visionary (100 spots) are for people who want to give more and get more. Mission Partner (25 spots) is for people who want to fund the mission seriously. When each tier's spots are gone, that tier closes permanently. No exceptions, no waitlist that reopens.
What happens to my $199 if WanderVerse fails?
Honestly: it's a community contribution, not a guaranteed return. We're not promising a refund — just like Proton's Indiegogo backers weren't guaranteed anything. What we're promising is radical transparency about how it's spent. Your $199 goes directly into building products and hiring Ambassadors. Nothing else.
