Grant management and compliance
I was the sole reviewer of every subgrantee quarterly budget for 50+ subgrantees, applying federal cost rules, on a program with $17M in federal funding and required match over three years.
Most of my work is grants, compliance and making programs run. Over the years I've also picked up a lot of other skills. Search or browse them here, and if you see something you need, get in touch.
I was the sole reviewer of every subgrantee quarterly budget for 50+ subgrantees, applying federal cost rules, on a program with $17M in federal funding and required match over three years.
I wrote the subgrantee RFP in years two and three of a federal program, and I've served on that program's subgrantee review committee every cycle since 2019.
As the sole contractor reporting to the CEO, I produced fundraising collateral and grant materials that brought in $348K over two years (2015-2016).
I moved a 6-month in-person training program online during COVID, with 100% completion on CDC-funded courses.
I picked and rolled out Survey Monkey Apply for 50+ subgrantees, a change I projected would save 500+ staff hours a year.
I was lead author of my program's first peer-reviewed paper (Kavod, 2018), which a later federal funding notice cites. I'm also a co-author of "ASCO Quality Training Program: A Five-Year Review" (JCO Oncology Practice, 2020).
I ran 13 national webinars (90% approval) and 4 national conferences of 100+ attendees each.
I build working tools with Claude Code and Cursor for the teams I work with.
I founded and run Wandering With Pride Inc., a 501(c)(3) for LGBTQ+ travel safety and financial literacy, and recruited and onboarded its board of directors.
I directed and produced "1943: Germany's Turning Point," a 50-minute documentary (2014).
For my Eagle Scout project (2004), I led about 30 volunteers and raised about $2,500 in materials to re-landscape an elementary school entrance.
I replaced a paper loan log with an ID-linked loan system for 400+ devices.
